The location is fantastic for exploring the Loire chateaus and wineries by car or bike, and the hosts Louise and Luke gave great service and useful advice about the area; we rented e‑bikes from the property and were shown quiet country roads to excellent restaurants and wineries. The continental breakfast was a feast featuring fresh products from the local boulangerie, and we used the in‑house dinner twice, each time receiving a different but equally delicious meal. The bed was firm yet comfortable, there was plenty of outdoor furniture for lounging, and the swimming pool was a welcome treat after a day of cycling, with no complaints even though the weather was great.
