I loved the location, the owners are very friendly, and you can arrive at 10 p.m. to get a hot coffee at the table; they’ll chat with you. There’s a pool, a kitchen to cook if you want, and a safe place to leave your car—I'll come back. The breakfast was delicious, a great variety that left me full before heading to the beaches of São Miguel dos Milagres, Carpinteiro, Patacho, and others.

The hosts, Dona Katia and her sister Jaque, are wonderful and helpful, always caring about every guest's well‑being, which made us extremely happy with their hospitality. The breakfast was a delight, with fresh, freshly‑made food, especially the couscous with charque. Our family was deeply grateful for all the affection from Dona Katia and Dona Jaque. I highly recommend it! We loved everything.

We liked everything. The host was wonderful, her sister sweet. Everyone was very helpful. They gave us a lot of attention, we loved it.

The lodge was very tidy and fragrant, the staff warm and polite, and they offered afternoon coffee made on the spot with hot cakes and some snacks. We appreciated being able to use the shared kitchen and to leave and return whenever we wanted. Very good! The only downside was that the shower was not electric and that wasn’t mentioned beforehand, but with so many positives we overlooked it.
