It was okay. I ordered food through room service and the receptionist spoke English. They could have been more flexible with allowing guests to shoot social‑media content in the area; using a camera inside requires payment, even though the shoots aren’t profitable for the hotel. I was willing to pay, but they only offer a one‑hour rate, which is a lot for us since we wanted to shoot for less than 30 minutes. A more flexible policy would have helped.

“Uncomfortable.”

The view of the spiral case and red bricks was nice, but the bed was uncomfortable and we couldn't sleep at all; the extra pillow had no sheet. The toilet, basin, wall, and shower area were all filthy, and there was a lot of noise. The single door lock offered low security. A staff member used the lift with the food trolley without asking guests to step in first, showing no hospitality and ignoring us multiple times. The place feels run down, and I don't understand why people recommend it; it's not worth it.

I loved the location of this hotel, it's right in the heart of Metropolis and super easy to get to. The diet breakfast options were a great touch too. Only downside was the Bubur Ayam - wasn't a fan.

The staff at this hotel were really nice, and the location is great. The building itself is stylish and really nice to look at. Only issue was the water - it was more like lukewarm than hot, which was a bit of a letdown.

“Overall enjoyed my stay in a much calmer and safer feeling part of Jakarta”

The calm vibe and natural feel of the residence were really nice, but I had issues with noise. The soundproofing was pretty bad - I could hear the parking attendants and even noise from the rooftop bar two floors up.
