The location in Bucktown is spot‑on, right near coffee shops and main streets. As Chicago locals, we know the city well. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially Ashlee and Ada, who went above and beyond with great smiles and attitudes. Ashlee showed the house to other guests when we arrived, and Ada gave us a detailed tour. The kitchen stocked plenty of snacks and drinks, with a wide array of grab‑and‑go goodies. Parking was explained beforehand, so that was no issue. The whole house feels like a quirky museum, full of things to see and take in, and it had a homely, personal vibe as if we were staying with friends. We stayed in the “A room with a view” and had no complaints except for the bed—it was too soft and sagged in the middle, so it needs a new mattress ASAP. I would definitely stay again and try other rooms. I highly recommend staying here; it’s a great place with a fun history about the owner—just have to come visit.

The welcoming staff made us feel at home right away. The decor is eclectic and full of interesting pieces to look at and think about. Breakfast and all day meals were excellent, and there was a generous sense of hospitality, even for guests of guests. It’s truly one‑of‑a‑kind and charming—no complaints.

Questo B&B è uno dei luoghi più originali, incantevoli e pieni di fantasia in cui sia mai stata. Lo staff è stato semplicemente meraviglioso: sempre sorridente, disponibile e pronto ad aiutare. Camere pulite ed accoglienti, Wi-fi gratis, aria condizionata, accappatoi e ciabatte oltre la normale biancheria, ferro e asse da stiro, asciugacapelli. Anche la colazione merita una menzione speciale: preparata in casa, gustosa e con deliziose alternative vegetariane e vegane. A disposizione degli ospiti ci sono snack, bevande, un armadietto con medicinali, sauna e bagno turco, lavanderia e parcheggio privato in loco e splendidi spazi comuni. Non ultima cosa sono amanti degli animali, fuori dall’ingresso biscottini e acqua fresca sono sempre a disposizione
