Our room was well appointed and the beds were comfortable, but we couldn't see out of it; there was a single window in one corner with frosted glass that offered no view at all, which felt very strange and unnatural.

The room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant food and staff were very good, and the lovely park and river across the road added charm, though it was not close to shops.
