I drove up a winding mountain road and could take in the scenery on the way, which felt very authentic. Inside and outside the place feels genuine. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious, complete with a balcony overlooking the mountains and lake. The breakfast was good.

The room was decent in a nice hotel in Sidirochori, the owner was welcoming for us and our pet, and breakfast was good. The room we stayed in required climbing many stairs, like a three‑storey apartment, which wasn’t an issue for us but might be for someone who struggles with stairs; other rooms in the hotel were clearly more accessible with fewer steps.
