The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet even though it’s in the middle of town, just a 1‑minute walk to the bus stop and the train station, and there’s a tasty restaurant right next door. The bathroom was a bit too small for the room, a little cramped.

No booking details mention that you need to contact the host upon arrival, no first‑time instructions, it feels more like a hotel booking but it isn’t. We arrived to a typical locked front door. When I called the lady, she was very annoyed and only came for the keys. Even more upset she complained she was tired, threatened that if it wasn’t good she’d find a hotel. How could you find a real hotel on the spot? The room was bare, even the bedside lamp had no light. The room was basic, windows wouldn’t close, there were no blinds, the host seemed unwilling to welcome a guest. It would be honest to say on booking that it isn’t a hotel, to ask guests to call when they arrive and to furnish a room for guests, including blinds. The owner was truly rude.
