The place was amazing! Siobhan and Alan were incredible hosts—warm, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. We enjoyed a picnic by the lake on their beautiful private property, and the surrounding area was perfect for hiking; they let us leave our car there during the day. Even though we had already checked out that morning, they let us take a quick shower after our hike, which we really appreciated. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature.

The very friendly and interested hosts and the great‑located house with a view of the lake and the wonderful mountains made for an absolute place of calm and relaxation with good atmosphere. It’s secluded, restaurants are about 8 car‑minutes away but available, and they give tips for sights. I’d gladly come back if we travel to Ireland again.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found this place; it was the most memorable spot of our holiday. The place is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, making it a great option for breaks between hikes. The breakfast prepared by the host is the best way to start the day, and the table setting is wonderful, with a beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. With the host’s permission, you can also go down to the lake and spend some time there. We were lucky with the weather and even went swimming. This place is made for peace and relaxation. I recommend staying for at least two days, or even longer.

“PRACHTIG”

The location is beautiful, a place to spend a few days and enjoy the calm and nature. The lovely host cooked well for us, and after a top breakfast we started the walk and received a hearty lunch.

Alles, die Unterkunftsgeber sind sehr nett. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, es wird alles sehr persönlich und privat gehalten. Das kontinentale Frühstück war eine willkommene Abwechslung. Das Grundstück ist riesengroß, mit Erlaubnis der Besitzer kann man auf deren Grundstück bis zum See hinunter wandern. Es ist abgelegen und herrlich ruhig
