The Japanese‑Style Standard Room features tatami flooring and five futon beds for up to five guests. Air conditioning supplies climate control within the room. A private bathroom provides both a bathtub and a shower.
The open‑air bath on the sixth floor offered a 360‑degree view of just mountains and fields in the morning, and the Japanese breakfast was delicious. The large public bath on the first floor was hot enough to get in, but the outdoor pool was so scorching that I could only dip my feet.
The breakfast was the best we’d had in Japan in the past seven months—beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. The entrance hall could be a little more welcoming and modern; it feels overly open to the lobby, though that’s more a matter of personal taste than a real fault.
It’s very close to Yamadera. The hotel is excellent. The traditional Japanese breakfast is very good. The room was very spacious, with a western and Japanese living area, futon beds, air conditioning, a private bathroom, and complimentary tea and cookies. I have no complaints.
“コスパ良し!所々のお花や額縁なども、非日常感たっぷりで、満足できました。”
The lobby stocked games like shogi, cards and chess, and coffee was free from a dispenser, letting my family enjoy a relaxed, fun day together. We chose the breakfast‑included plan, which offered a wide, tasty selection and felt like great value, while the staff’s attentiveness was evident; the nearby alley and other eateries were easy to find, and after dinner we could unwind at a local foot‑bath, so I’m glad I trusted my gut. The only minor gripe is that the view from the panorama bath looks a bit embarrassing when the hotel is seen from the road below.
The dinner was good. Overall, everything feels a bit old and could use a renovation.
