The staff were friendly, especially Grace, who welcomed us warmly, but the grass beside the pool was left untrimmed despite our report, and the breakfast quality was only average.

“Was okay”

The food tasted great and the view from the breakfast area was stunning; the tents matched the pictures exactly and the staff were very friendly and respectful. The location was convenient, but the road from reception to the tents was rough, the tents were somewhat dirty outside (they’re under trees, a spray‑down now and then would help), the shower leaked and hot water ran out quickly, and the coffee station lacked a fridge or milk. Breakfast was included, yet extra omelette toppings cost R60 (you get two free and can pick from peppers, mushroom, cheese, and bacon).

“Leuke lodge dicht bij Kruger”

Mooi domein met zowel kamers als tenten. Kamers zijn wel ver van het restaurant gelegen, moet met de wagen ongeveer 1km rijden. Restaurant ligt aan prachtige rivier en 's avonds na het eten maakt men graag op het strand een kampvuur, leuk om met andere gasten te praten. Kamers verouderd en beschadigd door vocht. “It was short but did not meet my expectations in terms of finishes, hygiene and the change of rooms”

The private pool and the view. The staff made us complete a form for room 3 but placed us at room 05 and said she made a mistake. 1. The room had stains on the wall above the headboard. 2. The headboard had white woodfillers which made it look bad. 3. The walls had dumping from the top due to water ingression. 4. The coaches were deteriorated and covered with a brown cover. 5. The hand rests were damaged. It did not look the same as the time I went 5 years ago. I even asked if the problem was the room or it is the entire Lions Rock
