I loved the service; staff are friendly and accommodating, and I definitely like the location as I generally come to Weipa for grocery shopping because I live and work in Aurukun. Its amenities are a bit outdated, and for the price it’s a bit high.

The breakfast included in the rate was handy, and the bed was super cozy. Parking with a boat was a bit quirky but it did the job. The pizzas were top‑notch. On the downside, a lot of hallway light seeps in through a poorly sealed door frame, so the only comfortable spot to sit is on the bed. The pool was littered with leaves, making it unappealing for a swim.

The hotel’s location is perfect for shopping, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The on‑site restaurant was fantastic. However, the building itself looks outdated, and outside our room there was a dump site where they were storing stuff in a shabby, unkempt way.
