If the summer heat in the cities had made it hard to sleep, this spot would have been a lifesaver. At 1,600 m the temperatures stay pleasant day and night, and there’s no traffic noise even with the windows open. The breakfast is fantastic, giving you the energy for hikes from easy to hard. Half‑board works great because there’s no restaurant on the Alm – the nearest one is about 20 minutes away.

The location is perfect for hiking, the staff are friendly, rooms are cozy with comfy beds, and the sauna area is top‑notch. We’ll be back.
