I absolutely loved the food! The views were stunning, and the atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming, but there was no elevator.

“A strange stay food was good but slow and room was dirty.”

The property has a great outlook very pretty by the water. When we first arrived we were left on the door step waiting when the girl answered she said you should have let yourselves in?? Then we were taken to the breakfast room sat down and made to give our pre ordered breakfast options there and the ! I didn’t know what I wanted for my dinner let alone breakfast. When we did have breakfast we waited 45 mins the girl the night before had said 8 for breakfast was very busy so we said we didn’t mind coming in at 745am but it appeared everyone was there then! We waited for our breakfast for far too long considering this is pre ordered. I messaged the accommodation host the night before asking if we could add in porridge to this day I am still waiting on a response. The room has a bathroom that is separate to the room so when you are going in there to wash in the morning you are greeting all the customers going to breakfast. Not ideal. The food when it eventually came was really nice this cannot be faulted. The room has dirt around the skirting boards and in the radiator. The shower tray has mould around the base of it. If these things mentioned could be mended then this would be an ideal place to stay

What a wonderful place to stay in Stornaway—just a five‑minute walk from the town centre. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, tea and coffee supplies were replenished daily, fresh towels were available on request, and the breakfasts were hearty with local produce and fresh ingredients. A real gem!

“Good location and breakfast but rooms not in great shape.”

The location was good and the room offered a nice view, and breakfast was decent. We arrived at 9:30 pm and didn’t have a key for our room, so it took some time to sort that out. When we finally entered, a dirty towel was hanging behind the bathroom door.

“Short but comfortable”

The breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade jam, and the staff were very friendly; the guest house is conveniently located.
