The location was good, but the bed was a board and there were no explanations about anything. We discussed the breakfast that had been paid for in advance, and the room was very noisy with a climate‑control system that didn’t manage to cool it to a pleasant temperature. The cleanliness was also lacking.

Das Hotel war unser erster Stopp auf Sansibar und dafür hätten wir uns kaum eine bessere Lage wünschen können. Man tritt aus dem Hotel und ist direkt mitten in den kleinen Gassen der Altstadt und kann das lebhafte Treiben genießen. Das Frühstück wird morgens in einem Schwesternhotel serviert, was für uns überhaupt kein Problem war. Es ist ein kleines, ordentliches und gutes Frühstück, mit dem man gut in den Tag startet. Besonders positiv waren auch die sehr gute Sauberkeit und das ausgesprochen freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt und für einen Besuch in Stone Town sehr empfehlenswert. Das Hotel ist etwas schwer zu finden ☺️

Because our return flight was in the middle of the night, we booked the hotel for another night at the end of our Zanzibar trip. Since we had already stayed there once and felt very comfortable, the decision was quick. The second stay was just as hassle‑free. Night‑time check‑out was possible without problems, and the friendly staff organized everything smoothly. Cleanliness, service, and the overall stay were again very good. We would book the hotel anytime again.

Cheap and close by, but the Wi‑Fi was catastrophic and the staircase to the room was completely unstandardised.
