Tianxi Guoji Hotel

We were not checked in; we sat for several hours by the hotel fence while it was locked. Neither the staff nor Booking support replied to us. As far as I understood, the hotel had closed, but no one warned us. We arrived from another country and had booked in advance to guarantee that at 5 am we would be able to check in (the arrival time was arranged through Booking).

Absolutely nothing! I stood outside a locked, chained‑up entrance gate with no sign, name, bell, buzzer, or code box to show it was a hotel or accommodation provider. I sent many messages that never got answered, and every time I tried calling the listed number I heard “not available – try again later.” I returned that evening and it was still the same. I had to book and stay elsewhere. To top it all, they had already pre‑charged my account the day before. Scoundrels, gangsters—criminals advertising and charging for a “hotel” that clearly doesn’t exist!

We weren’t checked in and our reservation wasn’t cancelled, even though we’d booked months in advance. The staff’s attitude toward guests who had booked far ahead and were left on the street with kids and suitcases was unacceptable.

They never let us check‑in even though we had a reservation made months ahead, and nobody thought to cancel it; they claimed the hotel was closing and there were no rooms left. The service was terrible and all eight of us, including two children, were left outside with a confirmed booking.
