The place is close to the station and the staff were kind, remembered my face and quickly handed me the room key. Because it’s next to the tracks, you can hear trains from before 6 am until around midnight.

Being close to the station and surrounded by convenience stores and eateries made getting around and finding food easy, yet the proximity to the rail line meant the trains were always audible, which at least served as a reliable alarm in the mornings.

The place is within walking distance of the station and the room turned out larger than I expected, with Wi‑Fi, TV and the kettle all working fine; they also left a bathrobe, face towel, bath towel and a toothbrush in the room, which was much appreciated, and breakfast was a simple grab‑and‑go from the front desk—bread, drinks and yogurt—though I wish there had been ham or salad, something I could have bought the night before at the nearby convenience store; after checkout they stored my luggage for me, which was a big help, and I had no real complaints aside from the missing side dishes in the morning meal, which I understand given the low room rate.
