The hotel is in a great spot, close to the Colosseum, and the breakfast is good; there are also plenty of cafés and restaurants in the square right in front of the hotel, offering a variety of options. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Gabriella, who gave us great tips and recommendations for exploring Rome. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay! The room was fine, but the bed was a standard double, not a queen or king size, which feels a bit small for two tall adults.

I had to book last minute because another hotel cancelled on us, but Casa Santa Sofia stepped in and was very friendly. A festival was right outside the hotel, yet they supplied ear plugs and it was more pleasant than disruptive. Staff stood at the door to let in only guests, so I felt very safe. The rooms could have been a bit larger, but given the historic location you probably have to sacrifice something else to get more space.

The stay at Casa Santa Sofia in Rome was outstanding. The hotel’s location is excellent, the layout is organized, and the welcome is warm, with a reception that is courteous, attentive, and professional. I especially want to thank Gabriella from Brazil and Nicoli from the Philippines, who made my visit even better. They showed remarkable professionalism, competence, efficiency, kindness, and meticulousness. Friendly and always ready, they could guide, solve problems, and meet guests’ needs quickly and effectively. Meeting such well-prepared, genuinely committed professionals is a real pleasure. Gabriella and Nicoli embody Casa Santa Sofia’s hospitality and truly enhance the guest experience. The organization, prime location, and especially the staff’s warmth and professionalism made me feel very welcome. My experience was extremely positive, and I’m grateful for Gabriella and Nicoli’s outstanding service. Highly recommended!
