The breakfast was very good, the reception was friendly, bicycles are stored safely in a garage, the dinner was excellent, the city‑center location was superb, and it’s also highly recommended for just one night.

The hotel’s location is excellent for the city center. The market square is reached quickly and all the interesting spots in the town are easy to visit. Arriving on a sunny weekend makes it hard to drive into the hotel because of the many tourists running around; this also makes parking difficult. The owner can’t do anything about that. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than enough and offered everything needed for a good start to the day.

The city‑center location was excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were newly renovated in 2021. The in‑house restaurant is also recommended. Directly next to the hotel is the basilica. At least on Saturday and Sunday mornings at 6 the bells ring loudly and extensively. The hotel can’t control that, but light‑sensitive night‑owls should keep that in mind. The breakfast was a bit blandly presented; egg dishes and the like were already cold and not always restocked.
