I was pleasantly surprised to find a TV in my room, and the hotel staff had thoughtfully provided towels and bottled water for us upon arrival. However, my experience was marred by several issues, including a reception area that was in need of a good cleaning and staff who struggled to communicate in English. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit in my room turned out to be just a fan, which didn't do much to cool me down, and it also failed to keep mosquitoes at bay.
