Bowfield Hotel and Spa

The hotel itself was lovely, but I was disappointed because the TV in my room didn’t work and I wanted to relax in my room.

“Rest & Relation”

We stayed in a lodge on our first visit and it was wonderful; the staff were friendly, understanding, and accommodating. The lodge was well equipped, spacious, and the bed was comfortable with extra pillows available. The views and hot tub were amazing, making it a great place to relax. Breakfast was busy but food was replenished efficiently; the buffet offered fresh continental and hot options. We also dined at the in‑house restaurant on the first evening and it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it. The only complaint was that some of the hot tub jets weren’t working or were not as powerful as they should have been.

The room was a good size, very clean, and the whole hotel felt stylish and modern. The restaurants and bar were nice, and breakfast was good. The only issue was the pillows were terrible and there were no alternatives available.

“Amazing stay, welcoming helpful staff, great food”

I appreciated the blend of modern and old, the lovely country setting, and the staff were amazing and very attentive. I didn’t like that the hotel was cashless and accepted card only.

“A very comfortable and relaxing stay in peaceful surroundings”

The spot’s close enough to travel but still feels secluded and calm, and the staff were very welcoming; the food was consistently excellent and plentiful, though I wish the bedroom had robes and slippers for easier spa use.
