The garden and coffee were nice, but the daily rate was steep for what the hotel offered. There was no sound isolation; you could hear all the hotel’s activity even with doors and windows shut, which was horrible. I arrived in the middle of the night from Natal and the front‑desk staff first told me there was no reservation under my name. I showed her the confirmation on my phone, she asked me to register for the hotel, and I explained that my booking was already on the booking site. I told her I wasn’t feeling well because of fibromyalgia and needed to get up, take medication, and she started being rude. When I tried to pay, my bank account had been blocked; I explained that it would be fine in the morning, but she wouldn’t let me pay at check‑out and was very insensitive. When I decided to take an Uber to another hotel, she finally released me from the stay, which left me feeling embarrassed and humiliated. When I got to the room there was no towel; I was so exhausted I didn’t want to ask or speak to that woman again. The room smelled very strong of disinfectant, the curtain didn’t close completely, and there were mosquitoes, which was very unpleasant. The next morning I went to the new front desk, told her I still had no towel, she didn’t offer one or apologize, and I asked for the receipt because I’d be having coffee and would need it when I left, but she didn’t print it until I left. In short, they were slow and apathetic.
