Warm welcome, a calm atmosphere and a decent breakfast made it feel like a little haven of peace. The only thing missing was a place to hang the towels, which would have been handy.

The owner is easy to reach and full of tips on restaurants, tours and even food delivery if you don’t feel like heading out at night. Bia serves a sweet‑hearted breakfast and the night guard is also very attentive. The only gripe was the tiny kitchenette – great for a quick snack but not enough if you want to cook a proper meal.

My husband and I spent three nights here and loved it – the décor is pleasant, lots of plants, and the breakfast was a real highlight with tapioca, cuscuz, eggs, cheese, ham and plenty of fruit. The manager checked in daily, sent us suggestions for tours and restaurants, and was genuinely caring. Parking was a bit of a hassle at first, but we eventually figured it out.
