“Heerlijk tot rust komen in een prachtige omgeving”
The surroundings and the spa were fantastic, just wish they’d add granola to the breakfast.

Everything was perfect.

The spot was peaceful, but the dinner at the restaurant left something to be desired.

Breakfast was excellent and matched the 30€ price, but the restaurant meals never came hot to the table. After a few attempts, we decided to eat elsewhere.

The setting is gorgeous, tucked in a forest near a small town with all kinds of shops; the food quality is good, the outdoor paths are lovely, the shared facilities are modern and varied, and the spa, sauna… are truly top‑class. That said, guests with pets are treated very well. The first issue was cleanliness: the common areas were spotless, new, and well organized, but the rooms were a disaster—one of us found a used undergarment upon arrival, and the other room’s pillows were stained with coffee, chocolate, and makeup. The front desk staff at checkout merely noted the problem and said they’d pass it up the chain, offering no compensation. The second problem was the price: two nights for two rooms for four people cost 700 euros on the booking platform, which seemed reasonable for the hotel’s quality. We only had one dinner for four people (no alcohol), three breakfasts on the second day, and two spa passes for three hours over the weekend. The bill totaled over 2200 euros. There’s a lot of hidden information: you don’t get pool access unless you pay for the spa, which is great but not advertised. The spa entrance fee is 39 euros per person, but on weekends it jumps to 49 euros without any sign. So if you’re planning a stay, factor in the spa cost per person; otherwise, aside from the walks and the paid bar, you get nothing else (no pool, no gym). That skews the budget for a family.
