The breakfast was excellent. In the evenings, the restaurant was closed.

The hotel sits right next to Oybin, a small spot but an excellent base for exploring the surrounding trails. The restaurant and café are closed, so it’s essentially a garni hotel. Maybe in the coming years a fresh breeze will sweep through the rooms.

The room was tidy and spotless. Its central position in Oybin is fantastic, putting you close to the Kleinbahn station and the Oybin castle. There’s nothing to complain about.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed personally in a very pleasant way, and that friendly attitude continued throughout our three‑day visit. Breakfast covered everything we could wish for, and the willingness to accommodate our dog was outstanding. We’d pick this hotel again and wish the owners and staff all the best in these increasingly tough times. Warm regards, Christine and Hans‑Joachim. We would have preferred a slightly larger room, but we were glad we could bring Greta with us.
