I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which boasts a fantastic location and a professional staff with a warm welcome. The hotel's charm, though slightly outdated, adds to its appeal and provides a refreshing change from the impersonality of larger hotel chains. The dinner was exceptional, and I appreciated the comfortable and quiet rooms. However, I felt that the hotel could benefit from a bit of a makeover to bring it up to date.

My stay at this hotel was a disaster from the moment I walked in. The instant I stepped inside, I was hit with a pungent smell that turned out to be cat urine. There were two cats lounging around the entrance, with cat food and litter boxes left out in the open. Unfortunately, the smell followed me into my room, where it lingered on the old, worn bedding and cushions. The stench was unbearable, and we ended up checking out after just half an hour, forfeiting the room we had paid for in advance.
