The location was fine, but the house was depressing— the owner filled any gaps to create “rooms,” patched holes without ventilation, wired electricity haphazardly, the heat was unbearable, and there was noise; the bathroom and kitchen were even worse, the fridge and microwave seemed alive, and the oven was unusable; I would not stay again for free.

Erika was willing to help, but the host moved us to another house that he uses when he has more bookings than he can handle, then claimed to have sent a cancellation request that he never did; the phone on the website was nonexistent and then he texted me from a different number; he wanted to put us in a room with only one sofa, and the host had to give us his private room; overall, it felt like a bit of a scam.
