Great breakfast, we were very satisfied! Even though we arrived quite late, we could still have an excellent dinner. The staff were very accommodating!

“Interessanter Name aber überteuert”

Nice spacious room, but overpriced. I travelled with my dog, and I was “kindly” charged only 25 € for the dog instead of 45 € (small/large dogs but without dog bed, water bowl, etc). I normally pay nothing up to 20 € per night for my dog. Breakfast was very “simple”; each egg cost 2,50 €. That is at a single‑bedroom price of 130 € (with dog and breakfast).

“Gelungener Zwischenstopp”

Nice themed hotel in a very quiet location, relatively large and bright rooms and bathrooms. The food at the in‑house restaurant is recommended; very good. Although it’s a beer hotel, there was also excellent Austrian wine from Burgenland. We stayed only one night as a stopover, but the hotel is also a good starting point for trips to Gmunden/Traumsee or the Salzkammergut overall. Given the otherwise good facilities and catering, one should also consider whether it is appropriate and wise to charge an extra 2,50 € for an egg at breakfast (whether boiled or scrambled), especially when the house behind the building is called Hahn and it crows!

Room very clean, but only one towel holder and no cabinet in the shower to put things down or hang them, even though the room is actually more than large enough for that (complaint on a high level).

The rooms were clean, the food was good. I’d come back again.
