Located just a five‑minute walk from the Colosseum, I love Colosseo offers modern rooms with air‑conditioning, free Wi‑Fi, parquet flooring, a seating area and en‑suite bathroom. Guests share a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living lounge. The vibrant Monti district’s pubs, restaurants and boutiques lie 15 minutes away, while Colosseo Metro Station is 550 m nearby.

The spot was perfect for the Colosseum. However, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, the mirror was cracked, and the wardrobe only had four hangers for two people.

Air conditioning and cleanliness were fine. You have to walk up three (four) flights, and it feels a little old‑style and dingy.

The room was decent, located in an old building’s guest house just five minutes from the Colosseum, and it was clean. I had an unpleasant billing incident: I mistakenly entered one guest when booking, but we were actually two. I didn’t think it mattered, as I’ve had no issues in other hotels with double rooms and only needed to pay the city tax for the second person. Here they demanded a €60 penalty (I later checked the price difference between one and two guests on booking, which was about €10). That ruined the overall impression because my budget was tight. P.S. Even though it’s close to the Colosseum, it’s not visible from the guest house windows.
