The hotel was decent, and the Old Montreal location was excellent. We even stayed right across from what became our favorite restaurant. The hotel itself felt very plain. I’d soften the tone a bit; it was a take‑off of the Montreal World’s Fair, so the vibe was almost industrial. We were at the Montreal World’s Fair for our honeymoon 59 years ago.

The location is great, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything else was fine.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the décor was very cool. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It would be nice to have a usable counter or shelf near the sink for toiletries.
