We didn’t stay that night and are unhappy with the apartment. The floor has cracks and large stains, and the apartment is in poor condition. We told the owner we wouldn’t use it, but received no reply, and we won’t get a full refund. I don’t recommend booking it. The pictures are old. Also, if you’re tall, you can’t stand upright in the bathroom.

The owner’s communication is super fast! Whenever I had a question, they answered immediately, which was a huge help. If something went wrong, the response was quick too. I wouldn’t recommend it in summer, but winter might be fine. The price is on the cheaper side; it’s a good option for those who don’t mind a lower cost. The loft was much dirtier than the photos. On the second floor, the room wasn’t cleaned even after the check‑in time had passed. In the WEST room on the second floor, the hair dryer was broken; in the EAST room, the air conditioner was broken. Some equipment checks might have been missed, which was a bit disappointing.

The spot is spot-on, right next to those cute cafés, bars, shops and Hongdae, and the balcony is perfect for hanging out in the evenings. If you’re taller than 175 cm you’ll hit the ceiling and lamps, but anyone under that height finds it just right.

I stayed four consecutive nights and, while I understand that housekeeping isn’t offered, I can’t fathom why only a small face towel was provided—there should have been at least one large and one small towel. Even though the dorm’s laundry room has big towels, they were still withheld, which feels like preferential treatment. The kitchen was bizarre: it advertised an IH stove but stocked a pile of unusable pots. The most intolerable issue was the broken air‑conditioning; in Seoul’s near‑40 °C heat, a room without cooling made me sweat through the night. If the owner knew the AC was dead and refused to replace it, shouldn’t they have supplied a fan? Are there no electric fans in Korea? The building’s old pipes constantly emitted a foul odor from the bathroom, so a simple deodorizer would have helped. The host offered no clear guide, and every question I asked required a long back‑and‑forth about supplies, AC, stove, trash—time I’d rather spend enjoying Korea. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had; even a youth hostel would have had better AC. I strongly advise future guests to spend a bit more on a different place.

The apartment sits in a prime spot near Hongdae street and is well linked to the airport. It was spotless, and the kitchen came fully equipped. A free washing machine with detergent was available, which I appreciated. I liked the contactless check‑in and check‑out, and we even got to move in a little earlier than the usual time. The only downside was the almost complete lack of natural light.
