The hotel is beautiful and elegant, with an excellent location. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and supermarkets within walking distance. We even walked to the Sagrada Familia. If you enjoy exploring the city on foot and stopping for coffee along the way, this is a great location. Taxis were also reasonably priced for getting around Barcelona. The room and bathroom were very nice and elegant. We also appreciated the complimentary tickets to the Egyptian Museum, which was a nice touch. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the restaurant. The soundproofing could be better. We could hear water running from the room above, people in the hallways, and even neighboring guests opening and closing their safes. The beds also have wheels, so movement from neighboring rooms was noticeable. The bathroom was beautiful, although I felt the layout could have been more practical. These were minor inconveniences and would not stop me from staying here again :), but I think better soundproofing would make the experience even nicer

Staff on arrival were fabulous and welcoming. Very helpful throughout our stay. Fab restaurants nearby. We were able to walk everywhere and was able to walk to Barcelona sants easy enough.

The hotel was located centrally but not really close to the metro so you have to use the bus a lot or walk 10 minutes. For a 4 star hotel the rooms are pretty outdated. The price-quality is not very good and we ended up regretting booking this hotel. The bed was old and had wear and tear marks on the sides. The tiles in the bathroom were broken. The aircon was pretty much just one setting and it was either on or off and not much in between
