The hotel and rooms were spotless, and the abundance of potted plants and flowers created a lovely natural ambiance.
The owner was incredibly friendly - he even baked fresh pastries himself.
The breakfast was a highlight, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with environmentally friendly products.

Excellent location and quiet, a special place with atmosphere and history. The only downside was the lack of power outlets in the room.

We booked two nights at the NATURION, one at the start and one at the end of our week in the Black Forest, two months in advance and fully paid. At our second check‑in, the owner coldly told us our reservation had been cancelled just 10 minutes before arrival, with no valid reason. Booking later said it was a hotel over‑booking. We refused the offered dormitory in a hostel opposite a construction site and found a room at the Schwarzwaldhof on our own, which turned out to be a wonderful surprise: a beautiful room, comfortable bedding, generous breakfast, and a warm, attentive welcome—everything we hadn’t found at the NATURION. A big thank you to the NATURION for their deplorable reservation handling; thanks to them we discovered the real gem, Schwarzwaldhof in Hinterzarten, which we recommend without hesitation. In the end, the best service the NATURION provided was being so unprofessional.
Small but nicely furnished room with a balcony. Good breakfast. Clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Garden use. Good value for money.

Das Frühstück war enttäuschend. In der Beschreibung, die im Zimmer lag wurde davon gesprochen das dort Bioprodukte verwandt werden. Bei den Brötchen stand ein Schild "Hausgebackenes Brot" daneben. Die Brötchen entpuppten sich dann als Aufbackbrötchen. Es gab nur kalte hart gekochte halbierte Eier. Das Schlagzimmer war sehr eng. Einen Balkon hatte unser Zimmer nicht. Vor einem Fenster hatten sich anscheinend Hornissen eingenistet, 2 mal war auch eine Hornisse im Zimmer. Zur Schlafenszeit (ca. 22.30 Uhr) mussten wir einen Mitarbeiter bitten die im Zimmer rumfliegende Hornisse zu beseitigen
