Breakfast was complimentary, but traveling alone with my child, I woke at 3 am to an older man repeatedly attempting to enter my room with his key card, which was terrifying; the Wi‑Fi was so bad that streaming apps wouldn’t load and the kids’ channels kept buffering or glitching, the surrounding area was under construction and not truly “riverside” as claimed, and overall I felt under‑delivered for the price and will not return.

“Very hard beds, not great location, lots of construction”

The staff were friendly and the room was clean, but the bed was as hard as a rock; when we arrived, two other rooms had been called for maintenance, which worried me a bit; the hotel sits in an older part of the city surrounded by construction, including the parking lot, and we had to go downstairs for coffee, which was being cleaned during check‑out so we didn’t get any; I expected a river‑front view but we weren’t even close, and for an anniversary I wanted a more romantic setting.

The building is old but clean, the front‑desk staff are very pleasant, walking to Pay‑Co Stadium takes 30 minutes, downtown is about 45 minutes, a 20‑minute Uber gets you to Kentucky Airport, and the room includes a microwave.

I loved everything about the place, especially the very comfortable beds! The only downside was that there were no certain items I expected.

“We had a nice stay and would recommend it to others.”

Breakfast was great, room clean comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Parking was ok, but could be better. Need cameras in back lot. Noticed someone near my car, went down, strong smell of pot. Decided to move car and was lucky to find a spot in the front
