Everything about this place hit the mark. It felt like home and I was sad to leave. The rooms were quiet, clean, comfortable and beautiful, and the comforter/blanket kept me warm on cold nights. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful, making it one of the best places I’ve stayed in Peru. I didn’t realize I needed to bring my own shampoo and conditioner, but that was a minor issue and I could easily buy one for $1.

Everything was perfect, so we extended our stay for an extra night. It was definitely one of my favorite places. It’s about a 15‑minute walk from city center, but that didn’t bother us at all. The location was quiet and safe.

Everything was perfect. The beautiful frescos, the cozy and intimate vibe, the exotic feel, and the fact that you don’t need to speak Spanish – you’ll instantly connect with the locals on any topic. At the end, there was a small gift with a narrative explaining its symbolic meaning.

When you’re so far from home, a place like this is exactly what you need. The apartment was very welcoming and spacious, ideal for long stays. Mary and Napoleon supported us with any request and need, were very accommodating with an early check‑in, and kept our luggage while we were in Machu Picchu. On our return, Mary was so thoughtful that she cooked dinner with us.
