The village and roundabout were nice and a supermarket was nearby; the accommodation felt old‑fashioned, the toilet was dirty and there were items under the beds, plus we needed more kitchen pans—yet we managed with just one night.

It was too close to the restaurant and noisy, but it was still nice and we’ll come back.

We were cycling the Velo route and this place was about 1.5 km from the path; we loved our little home for the evening, had everything we needed, and linen and towels were included. It was the end of the camping season, so the site was very quiet. We couldn’t get the gas to work for the stove, so we used the microwave instead, and we missed hot water for a drink; we couldn’t find staff to fix it, but it wasn’t a major issue—we were fine. We could have tried heating water in the microwave, but hadn’t thought of that before.
