“Incredibly helpful host and beautiful accommodation.”
The place was huge and I had it all to myself; even with the other two bedrooms occupied, there was still plenty of space. Teddy was super‑helpful when he noticed my bicycle tyre was leaking and I had no other options; he helped me find a bus to La Rochelle from the nearby village of Vix and even gave me a lift, which was far beyond what I expected. I’m very grateful for that. Nothing really went wrong. Just note that (at least on the day I was there) there was only one restaurant (a guinguette) open in the village, and if you’re late, you might not have many choices. I got there at 8 pm and they were running low on supplies, but the owner was very helpful and managed to get me some tasty food.
Everything! Especially the delicious homemade breakfasts prepared by Teddy!

I stayed in the heart of Marais Poitevin and the location was perfect. The family room was spacious, clean, and comfortable for the kids. The common areas were very pleasant, the host was friendly and gave good advice, and the homemade breakfast was excellent. Nothing to complain about!
