“Great location for exploring Bute”

Getting to the hotel was a breeze, and you can park on the street outside; although not directly in front, a spot was always within a short walk. The room was roomy and clean, with a decent-sized fridge—no freezer compartment—but enough to stay for a while. The breakfast‑included deal offered juice, yoghurt, milk, butter, jam, marmalade, various cereals, and a loaf of bread, plus a microwave for convenience. The view looked out over the road toward the sea, and the bed was comfortable. Nothing else went wrong; we had a great time on Bute and this was a wonderful place to stay.

“One of the better accommodation options in Rothesay”

Location, view and room facilities. The ability to dine in your room as you looked out over the ferry (and the weather) coming and going was fantastic. Only instant coffee made available 😕 - made worse by very few decent coffee options (open) in town while we were there

Everything was perfect, the owner was very nice and made us feel welcome, the location was great with a beautiful view from the room, and I will definitely return.

We didn’t see any staff, so we couldn’t comment on them. The rubbish from previous guests was still in the bin.
