“Excellent hosts, clean rooms highly recommended”

The hosts provided excellent service, the room was very clean, and we booked the family room with an attic bed, looking forward to visiting again. The place is really close to all the main city attractions. Parking is a bit cramped, but the hosts helped me park and there were no worries.

The hotel is in a good location, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the view from the room window is quite nice. However, there were several issues during my two-day stay that made the experience disappointing. The property is basically a small, old building that has been converted into rooms for guests. The exterior of the building is not very well maintained or clean, which may explain why there are hardly any photos of the outside building . The overall appearance of the property is quite different from what you might expect from the listing. When we checked in, some of the basic room facilities were not prepared in advance. We had to ask the staff for them instead of having everything ready when we arrived. like tissue, tea sugar, spoons. The biggest problem was the water supply and hot water. When we first checked in, there was no water coming from the taps. After informing the staff, the water came after around 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the same problem happened again at night, with no water available, and there was also no hot water. Since this is a hill station and the weather outside was cold, having hot water was especially important. On the first day, at around 2 PM, a staff member informed us that there was a shortage of gas and that hot water will be available after an hour. We had already been waiting for hot water since morning, so this was extremely inconvenient and spoiled a large part of our day. Sadly, the same issue happened again the following day. Overall, the location, staff, and views are good, but the repeated water and hot-water problems seriously affected our stay. The hotel really needs to improve its water supply and ensure hot water is consistently available, especially for guests visiting during cold weather
