“Hidden gem in CBD”
I was hesitant to book this apartment because there were only a few reviews, but it turned out to be a hidden gem. The host, Hadija, is kind, responsible, and very attentive; she’s always just a call or message away and replies fast. Even though the apartment is near the CBD, two security guards are on duty 24/7, which made me feel safe, especially when I arrived early in the morning. The room and facilities were very clean and well maintained: a clean bathroom with a hot shower, a well‑equipped kitchen, a comfortable working desk, and reliable Wi‑Fi. Hadija also arranged laundry for a reasonable price. The location is in the CBD and within walking distance to the city center; it’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the major long‑distance bus terminals for Ethiopia and Tanzania. Overall, this apartment offers great value for money and I would definitely recommend it. I really loved the apartment and would happily stay again. Just a couple of small things to be aware of before booking: occasionally a few bugs might find their way inside even when doors and windows are closed, and while the apartment is generally quiet, some sounds from the corridor can be heard at times.
