The front‑desk staff and the rooftop bar team were all very courteous, and a few Japanese guests stayed there too, which made me feel at ease. The hot water didn’t come on, but it was 33 °C outside, so a cold shower was fine. Anyone staying could access the rooftop, and the view of the Ganges was great. When I went up early to watch the sunrise, a monkey attacked me and stole my makeup. Be careful of monkeys in the morning; the evenings are fine. After checkout, there was a space to leave luggage (no lockers, but with security cameras), a cooler, and a sofa, so I could rest after checking out and it was fantastic!

“A great place to experience old varanasi!”

The hostel’s location is excellent. The place is clean, very friendly, and has a great vibe. It’s also a fantastic spot to meet other travelers. As a couple on a long trip, I was skeptical at first, but the team and the people made us feel safe and welcomed. Highly recommend!
