Waking up to a view of the lake was absolutely gorgeous and set a wonderful tone for the day. Unfortunately, we later discovered the lake is private property, so we couldn’t actually go down to it—a surprise we weren’t told about. Still, the scenery from the room made up for the restriction.

The place sits in a prime location and the staff were really friendly, making everything feel easy. It was a simple, pleasant stay overall.

Breakfast here was excellent – lots of choices and everything tasted fresh. It was the best part of the day and a solid reason to start early.

Check‑in was smooth and the front desk staff were very accommodating, plus the breakfast area offered a nice view. On the downside, the carpeted floors felt worn and the décor above street level looked a bit dated. Overall, the positives outweighed the dated interior.
