The place is well‑situated, not just for trips to the Table Mountains but also for the surrounding area. The property is well‑maintained, clean, with a spacious area that includes a playground for kids and a covered patio.

A stunning location, a very friendly hostess, a huge leisure area with two fire pits, hammocks, a spot for playing football with kids, shelters, and, to my surprise, a little stream for wading.

“A cozy house with a long history.”

The old‑style building has a long history and the rooms are very comfortable and warm, with plenty of wood in the construction and furniture. The backyard is huge, complete with a grill and other amenities, and there’s ample parking. The owners baked a sweet pie (probably for someone’s birthday). We definitely keep this place on our list for a future visit to the area. The only downside is that the sound insulation between neighboring rooms is a bit weak.
