“Quiet, comfortable, and perfectly located”

I was a bit worried about staying in a hotel with no staff or front desk, but everything ran smoothly. All necessary information was sent beforehand, and both check‑in and check‑out were hassle‑free. I appreciated being able to grab extra towels and coffee pods, and the room had both a coffee maker and a kettle. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. For such a compact room, the layout was thoughtful, with plenty of large and small storage drawers and hooks for bags and coats. The location couldn’t be better: a quiet street in the heart of the Castro, with tons of restaurants, shops, and cafés just steps away. The roof deck was lovely, with incredible views! I also liked that room cleaning was available for free on request, as I often find it unnecessary for short stays. We didn’t like that the bed was tucked into an alcove (walls on two sides), making it impossible for one person to get out without waking the other. Since we usually get up at least once a night to go to the bathroom, my husband ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which isn’t the most comfortable. If you and your partner both sleep through the night or aren’t light sleepers, this may not be an issue, but it was a problem for us. The room would have been ideal for one person but didn’t work great for two because of the bed position.

The bedroom and bathroom were impeccably clean, and the bed felt incredibly comfortable. However, the power sockets were poorly placed, making it difficult to plug in an international adapter when needed.
