The room sits on the upper floor of a small izakaya that offers typical Japanese drinks and dishes. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, so be careful going up. The space is very clean and fully equipped. The wooden furniture and high ceiling complete the impression. A breakfast for 1000 yen can be booked, featuring typical Japanese fare (fish, eggs, vegetables, miso soup, and rice). The beds are rather hard, so not everyone will find them comfortable. As a back sleeper I had no trouble. Since the izakaya stays open until 23:00, it can get a bit noisy until then, which might disturb those who want to sleep very early.
