“Hotel des totes”

The room was so awful that I couldn't even enter; when I asked for a clean one, they said none were available. I had to buy a SIM card on the spot and look for another hotel. The bathroom ceiling had already fallen off, and I was afraid to use the toilet because I feared catching something. The shower smelled like mold, every seam was black and full of mildew, and the towels looked used. The staircase to the room had at least 25 cm of uneven steps. The hotel had several names according to what I read on Google. That same evening I moved to another hotel with a much better look in Nonthaburi.

The reception was friendly and very helpful. I didn't like the room; it had five floors, so I had to climb up to the fourth floor, and the bed, bathroom, and everything else were not worth the price I paid.

It’s close to the MRT station. The room wasn’t clean enough; the bathroom was full of little flies and smelled bad, and there was a roach at the end. The air conditioner was dripping. The staff couldn’t fix the issue on the first night, and they said I could only cancel through the booking platform, which would cost me a third of the total fee. They couldn’t change my room that day, not even a shared one, because they claimed it was fully booked. The only thing they offered was to change my room the next day at 2 p.m. When I went to the counter then, a new staff member was there, and the night shift staff didn’t even speak to the new staff! The air conditioner in the new room was also dripping 🙂 I asked a Thai friend, and they said the room was not worth the price at all.
