Tenuta Santo Pietro, a working farm in Tuscan countryside, offers 13th‑century farmhouse rooms with terracotta floors, wooden beams, and marble bathrooms. Air‑conditioned rooms feature mosquito nets, valley or stone‑wall views, and TV. An outdoor pool overlooks Pienza, 5 km away, surrounded by teak deck chairs. Daily Tuscan buffet, on‑site wine, and olive oil complete the experience.

The staff were great, and the location was ideal for visiting various sites deep in Tuscany. The property was close to a road, but closed windows kept the noise down. Our room was right next to the reception and dining area, so it was a little noisy at times, but tolerable.

The view from the pool area is nice, and the exterior looks good—though not spectacular. The ladies running the place are friendly, but they can’t fix everything. Note that the property is literally on the road; you can’t open a window because of traffic. Our room (9) was very hot—according to the manager, it was due to sun warming, but it was late October, the room faced north, and it was hot in the early mornings, so that explanation feels unreliable. They only sell their own branded wine, and the breakfast/dinner area is basically outside and not heated—at breakfast all guests wore winter jackets. The price/quality is off the mark, far too high. Everything feels a bit tired and off; the welcome sign on the front door says “Please be Silent!” and the welcome is “name, please, and passport”—not a friendly greeting. The house rules list what you can’t do. The staff are friendly, but service, food, and the building are below par for the money.

I had a wonderful stay at a beautiful, quiet place—exactly what we were looking for. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the beds were incredible; I even checked the bedding marks to buy them for home. The only downside was the room soundproofing, but that’s typical for that kind of farm stay, so nothing unexpected.

The location was perfect for exploring Val d’Orcia, and the property was welcoming with kind, helpful staff. Nothing in particular to point out.

This agriturismo was absolutely perfect for our two‑week October 2026 stay in Italy; it became our favorite. The food was excellent, the room stunning, and the tub and bed were the most comfortable we’ve had abroad. Host Bertina was accommodating, attentive, and a lively burst of energy. We’ll definitely return. We chose the four‑course dinner and everything was great, breakfast was splendid and filling, and the pool offered amazing water and views—thanks, Tenuta Santo Pietro!
