The breakfast was very limited, with only a small range of fruits, few biscuits and breads, and at the restaurant only a handful of menu items were available.

The view from the hotel is beautiful, there’s plenty of space nearby where kids could play in the snow without worry, the room stays warm, and the restaurant is excellent. It was hard to set the shower temperature, but since the room had a bathtub it wasn’t a major issue.

The location and the staff are spectacular—friendly, polite, helpful, and the manager gives special attention to each guest; the view of the mountain is sensational and unique. I didn’t like the bathroom; it’s bad for showering with an old bathtub and a not‑great shower, and the breakfast is basic with very few options.

The only thing that still works for us is the location; we first visited three years ago and had a one‑of‑a‑kind experience, yet this weekend’s return turned into a mess from the food right through to breakfast, although the staff remained excellent.
