“Birthday break ruined”

The place had absolutely nothing worth mentioning; we booked two nights but departed the following day, even though we could have stayed longer if not for the exhaustion from traveling and the long trip back home. The room was cramped, the bed and bedding were subpar, the shower was broken, and there was no TV either in the bedroom or downstairs in the reception area. The window didn’t seal properly, letting in wind that made it feel like the roof could collapse.

The location was convenient right off the train station. The bed was comfortable and the staff were pleasant.

It’s one of the cheapest places yet absolutely one of the best ✨ Two full toilet rolls, plenty of tea, coffee & milk in the room ☕ Check‑in was smooth and the staff were friendly 🙏 Video will go on YouTube soon 👌

Very clean, tidy, and well presented. Being on the top floor meant a lot of stairs.

I had to point out that if you end up in room 12 or any other room, you should double‑check the windows are secure; ours in room 12 wasn’t, and a child could have climbed onto the chair in front of the window and pushed it open, risking a 50ft fall to its death, especially since the window handle didn’t even work. After raising the issue we were moved to another room.
