“Disappointing”

The building is nice, peaceful, and quirky. I stayed 3 nights and booked all 5 rooms at the retreat, yet there was no housekeeping; I only got 4 tea bags on day one and no refills. I had to use the same unwashed mug (just rinsed in the bathroom) for the entire stay, the bathroom bins were full, and there were cobwebs in the bathroom curtains. When I asked them to turn on the heating to warm up the rooms, only room 1 had working heating. The water urn was never emptied or refilled with fresh water. When I mentioned these issues to the “host,” she said it was her husband who looked after all those things.
