“Lovely Older style hotel kept in excellent condition and was very clean with a great atmosphere”
It was fine, and everything else was great.

The décor felt a little old‑fashioned, but overall the hotel was good, with spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, and excellent staff. The room lacked tea/coffee facilities and had a limited selection of TV channels; adding options like Netflix for a higher rate would be nice.
The hotel is close to the city center.

Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful, and being close to the night street market was convenient. However, the air‑conditioning unit in our room (418) made a terrible noise that made sleeping hard; on the last night we were moved to room (420), which was much better, and it would have been preferable to stay in 420 the whole time. The swimming pool stayed closed for most of our stay because it turned green after recent rain, which was disappointing. The breakfast offerings were poor, the coffee tasted bad, and the fake fruit should be replaced with real fruit; by the time we got to breakfast, all the pastries were gone.
